Inside the Pampore harvest
Three weeks a year, before sunrise, entire families kneel in purple fields. This is where every jar we sell begins.

The crocus opens overnight and must be picked before the sun climbs, or the stigma loses potency.
Every flower is opened by hand and three crimson threads are pulled out with a fingernail. A skilled picker manages a few thousand flowers a morning.
Drying happens the same day, low and slow, until the threads snap cleanly.
We buy with care and pack in small batches — no middlemen, no blending, no anonymous lots.
